You’ll be editing YouTube videos and short-form content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts, collaborating closely with BAM’s talent, producers, and editorial team to make content that stops the scroll and gets shared.

This is a hands-on creative role with zero client calls or endless revision cycles — just space, resources, and a fast-moving environment to make content that works.

Responsibilities

  • Edit and deliver multiple high-quality YouTube videos per week with strong pacing and storytelling.

  • Clip standout moments from long-form content for TikTok, Reels, and Shorts, adapting them for each platform.

  • Apply brand-consistent motion graphics in After Effects (kinetic typography, lower thirds, infographics, transitions).

  • Help shape titles, hooks, and structure to maximize click-through rate and engagement.

  • Research trends and competitors to keep content ahead of the curve.

  • Maintain organized project files and templates for efficient workflows.

  • Review retention analytics to continuously improve.

  • Occasionally operate remote podcast setups.

Who You Are

  • Platform Native: You know what works (and what doesn’t) on YouTube, Reels, and TikTok.

  • Editing Pro: Skilled in Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or CapCut with After Effects motion graphics experience.

  • Storyteller: Able to hook viewers, pace for retention, and land a memorable close.

  • Trend Translator: Spot trends early and adapt them to BAM’s voice.

  • Design-Savvy: Confident with Canva, Photoshop, or similar tools.

  • Organized & Efficient: Manage multiple projects and hit deadlines.

  • Data-Driven: Use analytics to guide future edits.

  • Collaborative: Communicate openly and thrive both independently and in a team.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years professional editing experience.

  • Strong Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects skills.

  • Understanding of YouTube retention editing and short-form trends.

  • Strong typography, color, and animation design sense.

  • Ability to follow direction and meet deadlines.

  • Portfolio with both long- and short-form examples (required).

Bonus Points If You:

  • Have experience in real estate, business, or entrepreneurship content.

  • Use AI tools (ChatGPT, Descript, etc.) to speed workflows.

  • Have worked with multi-talent brands.

  • Can produce hype trailers and event promos.
