Job Details:
ACCEL Schools is hiring Virtual Teachers dedicated to delivering a rigorous and nurturing education for students across Georgia. While the role is primarily online, teachers will attend in-person state testing and student events several times per year. Using a 21st-century digital curriculum, you will foster academic success, social-emotional growth, and cultural responsiveness in a supportive online classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the teacher of record in core subjects and grade levels.

Deliver engaging live virtual lessons and monitor asynchronous coursework.

Track student progress, grade assignments, and provide feedback daily.

Review student data to inform instruction and differentiate as needed.

Maintain consistent communication with students and families.

Create culturally responsive, joyful classroom environments.

Collaborate with colleagues and administrators on student progress.

Attend in-person testing sessions and school events as required.
Qualifications:

Current Georgia teaching license in appropriate content area.

Knowledge of Georgia State Standards and Common Core.

2+ years teaching experience preferred.

Strong communication, organizational, and technology skills (Microsoft Office).

Ability to pass state and federal background checks.

Experience in multicultural settings preferred.
