Frimley Park Hospital’s Day Surgery Unit is seeking a Ward Clerk/Receptionist to provide vital administrative support in a fast-paced medical environment. This part-time role (30 hours per week) requires a dynamic and professional individual to handle reception duties and clerical tasks efficiently. As a Ward Clerk/Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors while managing administrative operations to ensure smooth daily functions.
Key Responsibilities of a Ward Clerk/Receptionist

Handling telephone inquiries and assisting patients and visitors

Updating and maintaining patient records on electronic systems

Coordinating admissions, discharges, and liaising with hospital departments

Supporting medical and nursing staff with administrative tasks

Managing appointments, transport requests, and discharge processes
Essential Skills and Qualifications

GCSE English & Maths (or equivalent)
