  • Job Responsibilities

    Inventory Control

    • Conduct cycle counts using computer-generated reports to track product inventory.
    • Audit product locations to verify item accuracy, count, and expiration dates.
    • Identify and resolve inventory errors.
    • Set up and adjust storage locations as needed.
    • Investigate inventory discrepancies and update records accordingly.
    • Review and correct customer invoices when inventory is unavailable.
    • Report product inconsistencies such as incorrect packaging, shortages, or damages to the Supervisor.
    • Maintain organized fulfillment center aisles and proper storage integrity.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including DEA, OSHA, FDA, EPA, and BoP guidelines.

    Replenishment

    • Evaluate restock settings in the computer system for accuracy.
    • Verify product labels before placing transferred inventory into pick locations.
    • Conduct cycle counts to ensure on-hand inventory aligns with reports.

    Overstock & Damaged Products

    • Update overstock location labels to reflect quantity adjustments.
    • Communicate with vendors and procurement teams to resolve discrepancies.
    • Coordinate with the vendor returns team to process return purchase orders.
    • Update the warehouse management system with issue statuses.
    • Monitor discrepancy resolution timelines for prompt action.
    • Determine proper disposal or donation of damaged products per company policy.
    • Alert the Supervisor of any product issues such as incorrect counts, damages, or shortages.

    Returns

    • Process merchandise returns from customers and vendors.
    • Collaborate with Sales Representatives to ensure proper return handling.
    • Work with Sales Managers and Vendor Returns teams to facilitate vendor reimbursements when necessary.

    Qualifications & Skills

    • High school diploma or GED preferred.
    • Strong PC and keyboarding skills, with proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Email).
    • Ability to read, write, and perform basic math.
    • Strong problem-solving abilities.
    • Ability to meet productivity goals and deadlines.

    Work Conditions & Physical Requirements

    Equipment Used

    • General warehouse and office equipment.
    • MS Office, shipping, and proprietary inventory management software.
    • Potential operation of forklifts, including sit-down, cherry pickers, and Joey forklifts (training and certification may be required).

    Physical Requirements

    • Frequent movement, including walking, bending, and reaching (approximately 75% of the time).
    • Ability to lift and carry up to 55 pounds independently and up to 100 pounds as a team lift.
    • Frequent grasping, stooping, and bending in confined spaces.
    • Occasional use of ladders for accessing inventory.
    • Exposure to dust and warehouse environments.

    Work Schedule & Travel

    • No travel required.
    • On-call availability is not required.

    Compensation

    • The pay range for this role is $17.88 – $21.92 per hour, with the final offer based on location, experience, and skills.
