Join Willen Hospice as a Warehouse & Furniture Store Assistant and support a cause that truly matters. Based at our Kiln Farm Distribution Centre and Furniture Store, you’ll help keep operations smooth, donations organised, and our mission moving forward—all while promoting Gift Aid to maximise fundraising.
Key Responsibilities
Support Daily Operations: Work with the warehouse team to manage and allocate stock
Donor Engagement: Welcome and assist donors courteously, including declined donation handling
Gift Aid Promotion: Encourage donors to sign up, label stock correctly, and boost income
Handle Enquiries: Answer calls and schedule donation bookings
Stock Handling: Load/unload goods and support safe collection and delivery
Stock Rotation: Ensure stock is regularly rotated and well-organised
Team Collaboration: Work closely with Team Leaders, volunteers, and staff
Maintain Cleanliness: Keep all areas tidy and compliant with Health & Safety
Follow Procedures: Abide by all policies and legal guidelines
Who We’re Looking For
Friendly and confident communicator
Organised with strong attention to detail
Team player who’s also comfortable working independently
Flexible and helpful attitude
Committed to supporting a charitable cause
Warehouse or retail experience is helpful (not essential)
Basic understanding of Health & Safety is a plus

We support patients with life-limiting illnesses, both at home and in our In-Patient Unit, and offer services including counselling, physiotherapy, and more.
