Role Overview
As part of our ambitious growth strategy, we are looking for an experienced and hands-on Warehouse Manager to lead our expanding warehouse team. You will manage all aspects of warehouse operations—from shipping and receiving to inventory control—while driving efficiency and ensuring safety compliance. This role demands a proactive leader who can roll up their sleeves, inspire the team, and optimise warehouse processes.
Key Responsibilities

Manage daily warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, and inventory management

Lead, supervise, and develop warehouse staff with a focus on training and performance improvement

Implement and maintain efficient business processes to maximise warehouse productivity

Oversee use of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) for accurate inventory and shipment tracking

Collaborate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to ensure seamless supply chain operations

Monitor KPIs related to warehouse activities, driving continuous improvement in productivity and accuracy

Conduct regular inventory audits and ensure strict compliance with health and safety regulations

Manage site health and safety, promoting a safe working environment

Prepare detailed reports on warehouse performance including profit and loss analysis
Skills and Experience

Proven experience in warehouse management with at least 3 years in a supervisory role

Proficient forklift operator and experienced with warehouse equipment

Strong knowledge of warehousing business processes, shipping, and receiving in fast-paced environments

Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is essential

Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma

Ability to manage relationships with third-party logistics providers (3PL)

Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail

IOSH or NEBOSH health and safety qualification is highly desirable

Strong leadership skills with a hands-on approach and ability to motivate a team
