The Role: Warehouse Supervisor
We are currently seeking a hands-on, experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee our day-to-day warehouse and yard operations. You’ll be responsible for the safe, efficient handling, storage, and dispatch of goods, managing stock levels, and ensuring a smooth supply chain to meet customer expectations.
This is a full-time, permanent position requiring approximately 45–50 hours per week, including Saturday mornings. A company pension and on-site parking are available.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee and coordinate daily warehouse and yard operations.

Supervise goods-in and dispatch processes, ensuring accurate record keeping and stock control.

Operate forklifts safely and manage safe handling and movement of materials.

Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures across the warehouse and yard.

Collaborate closely with the sales and customer service teams to meet delivery and client requirements.

Identify opportunities for improving operational efficiency.
What We’re Looking For
Required Experience & Skills

Minimum 3 years’ experience in warehouse and yard operations (construction/DIY industry preferred).

Strong working knowledge of logistics, stock control, and dispatch processes.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Forklift operation experience with a solid understanding of H&S compliance.

Proven ability to manage time and workloads in a fast-paced environment.
