The Role: Warehouse Supervisor

We are currently seeking a hands-on, experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee our day-to-day warehouse and yard operations. You’ll be responsible for the safe, efficient handling, storage, and dispatch of goods, managing stock levels, and ensuring a smooth supply chain to meet customer expectations.

This is a full-time, permanent position requiring approximately 45–50 hours per week, including Saturday mornings. A company pension and on-site parking are available.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate daily warehouse and yard operations.

  • Supervise goods-in and dispatch processes, ensuring accurate record keeping and stock control.

  • Operate forklifts safely and manage safe handling and movement of materials.

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures across the warehouse and yard.

  • Collaborate closely with the sales and customer service teams to meet delivery and client requirements.

  • Identify opportunities for improving operational efficiency.

What We’re Looking For

 Required Experience & Skills

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in warehouse and yard operations (construction/DIY industry preferred).

  • Strong working knowledge of logistics, stock control, and dispatch processes.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Forklift operation experience with a solid understanding of H&S compliance.

  • Proven ability to manage time and workloads in a fast-paced environment.

Working Schedule
