You’ll be instrumental in training, coaching, and motivating your team while championing continuous improvement across processes, technology, and safety standards. Key Responsibilities as a Warehouse Team Leader

As a Warehouse Team Leader, you will:

  • Plan and manage day-to-day warehouse operations to meet productivity and quality KPIs

  • Lead team performance with a focus on pick accuracy and safety

  • Champion continuous improvement across procedures, equipment, and operational controls

  • Identify and address training needs while managing disciplinary matters as needed

  • Ensure pallet and stock organization to maintain a clean and efficient working environment

  • Foster a positive culture of teamwork, accountability, and customer focus

Skills & Experience for the Warehouse Team Leader Role

To succeed as a Warehouse Team Leader, you’ll need:

  • Problem-solving ability and a data-driven mindset

  • Strong communication and assertive leadership skills

  • Familiarity with IT tools (Excel, Word) and warehouse management systems

  • Knowledge of health and safety best practices—IOSH certification preferred
