Mercor is recruiting experienced Dispatchers (excluding police, fire, and ambulance dispatchers) for a research project in collaboration with one of the world’s leading AI companies. This project leverages your professional experience to help design occupation-specific questions for AI research.
Role Overview
As an Independent Contractor, you will contribute your expertise in dispatch operations to shape AI research. The work is fully asynchronous, allowing you to complete tasks around your schedule. This short-term project is designed for professionals with deep industry experience who want flexible, impactful work.
Key Responsibilities

Use your experience as a Dispatcher to provide insights and design questions related to your occupation.

Complete project tasks remotely using a desktop or laptop computer (Chromebooks not accepted).

Commit at least 15 hours per week for the duration of the project (3–4 weeks).

Accurately log work hours for weekly compensation.
Qualifications

4+ years of full-time experience as a Dispatcher (excluding police, fire, and ambulance).

Based in the US, UK, or Canada.

Strong understanding of logistics management, route optimization, and transportation regulations.

Proficiency in dispatch software, time management, problem-solving, and data analysis.

Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and customer service experience.
Compensation & Legal Status

Industry-standard compensation based on experience and geographic location (U.S. pay scale provided as reference).

Weekly payments via Stripe Connect based on hours logged.

Classified as an “at-will” contractor.
