H-E-B is hiring a Web Analyst II to join our Corporate Planning & Analysis team! In this role, you’ll partner with digital marketing, e-commerce, and product teams to deliver actionable insights and reporting. Your responsibilities will include website traffic analysis, tagging strategy, dashboard creation, and deep-dive analytics that support business strategy and customer engagement.

What You’ll Do
Analytics & Insights

Build and maintain weekly/monthly dashboards with KPIs around traffic, features, marketing channels, and engagement

Conduct A/B test impact analysis, user behavior tracking, and experimental design consultation

Support end-to-end clickstream lifecycle: tagging requirements, UAT, QA, and dashboard delivery

Analyze online/offline customer behaviors using SQL and Python/R in Databricks or Hadoop environments

Provide feedback to cross-functional teams (Merchandising, Creative, Engineering) to drive data-driven improvements

Consult with digital marketing on CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) for targeting and performance metrics
Tagging & Technical Enablement

Improve and implement web tagging across digital properties

Work with data engineering to structure raw event data into a semantic layer

Influence implementation plans and collaborate with IS for scalable tracking solutions
Collaboration & Strategy

Act as analytics SME across teams; guide proper tracking, testing, and measurement

Deliver presentations and key data stories using BI tools (Looker, Domo, Tableau, PowerBI)

Support ad-hoc requests, stakeholder education, and advanced analytics enablement
Qualifications
Required Experience
-
5+ years in analytics with tools like Google Analytics (GA4), Amplitude, or Adobe Analytics

3+ years working with SQL, Python, or R on large data sets

3+ years of web testing, targeting, and campaign performance tracking

Experience in an omni-channel retail environment is a strong plus
Technical Skills

Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, BI tools (Looker, Domo, Tableau, PowerBI)

Strong experience in Databricks, Hadoop, or other big data frameworks

Understanding of CRM and digital advertising platforms
