Location:
This internship is based at Motion’s headquarters in Birmingham, AL, and will be conducted onsite.
What You’ll Do

Join an Agile team to help build web-based applications tailored to business needs

Complete a capstone project within your discipline and present it to IT leadership

Collaborate with senior developers and architects on assigned tasks

Assist in the design, development, documentation, testing, and monitoring of solutions

Support product deployment pipelines and help troubleshoot production issues
What We’re Looking For
-
Pursuing a BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
-
Familiarity with web development frameworks (Angular, React, Next.js, Nest.js preferred)

Working knowledge of programming languages (Java preferred)

Understanding of cloud platforms (Google Cloud preferred)

Exposure to DevSecOps practices and tools (Git, CI/CD)

Familiarity with Linux and Windows scripting

Strong grasp of the full software development lifecycle

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Self-motivated and proactive, with a willingness to learn new technologies

Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
