About the Job

At Crowd Favorite, we’re looking for a seasoned web developer who writes clean, efficient code, understands the reasoning behind technical decisions, and communicates clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences. You’ll play a key role in building new features and maintaining high-performance content management platforms for enterprise clients—focusing on stability, performance, and continuous growth of your technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop new features and maintain existing enterprise platforms

• Provide technical support for mission-critical applications

• Debug and resolve complex production issues

• Optimize performance and implement advanced caching strategies

• Build custom plugins and integrate third-party APIs and services

• Monitor and maintain high-traffic production environments

• Apply security updates and system maintenance within SLAs

• Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code

• Contribute to code reviews, technical planning, and documentation

• Collaborate with senior developers on architectural decisions and best practices

• Communicate with clients alongside senior team members

What We’re Looking For

Experience

• 3+ years of hands-on PHP development, including Laravel and WordPress

• Strong proficiency with TypeScript, Node.js, and modern JavaScript frameworks

• Background maintaining and extending enterprise CMS platforms

• Experience debugging complex systems and implementing automated tests

• Strong grasp of RESTful API development and integration

• Advanced skills in performance tuning, scalability, and caching

• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD workflows

• Experience with cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Cloudflare)

• Ability to produce high-quality code with thorough documentation

Technical Proficiency

• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills

• Ability to independently implement complex features

• Knowledge of database optimization and performance tuning

• Proficiency in secure coding practices

• Experience with command-line tools and server environments

• Familiarity with build tools and deployment pipelines

Support & Maintenance

• Experience managing production support and ticketing systems

• Ability to assess issue severity and prioritize effectively

• Comfort with monitoring, logging, and performance profiling tools

• Clear documentation of issues, resolutions, and technical steps

Professional Attributes

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to clearly explain technical concepts to various stakeholders

• Self-driven and collaborative

• Strong organizational and time management abilities

• Fluent English communication skills (minimum B2 CEFR level)
