About the Job

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring skilled Welders of All Levels for projects in the Olean, NY area. This is a first shift position with a competitive pay range of $30–$35/hour, depending on experience and skill level.

Key Responsibilities

Perform sub-arc welding on steel components for bridges, buildings, and industrial projects.
Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and engineering plans.
Fit, assemble, and weld structural steel components ensuring accuracy and integrity.
Utilize ARC and MIG welding techniques to join steel structures.
Maintain fabrication tools, equipment, and machinery; report malfunctions promptly.
Ensure compliance with structural engineering principles, welding procedures, and shop safety standards.
Identify and report workplace hazards while upholding all safety protocols.

Requirements

Minimum 5+ years of welding/fitting experience.
Must provide and use all PPE and welding hood.
Ability to pass a weld test.
