📍 Location: Fulton, MO
💰 Pay Range: $19.18 – $28.80 per hour
🕒 Employment Type: Full-Time, Non-Exempt
The Welder role is the final step in our fabrication process, producing high-quality metal parts that meet Simpson Strong-Tie’s exact specifications. This is a hands-on position that requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities

Set up welding machines, read prints, stage work, and weld metal parts.

Produce quality parts according to Simpson specifications in a safe manner.

Use manual and powered hand tools to support production.

Measure accurately using tape measures and protractors.

Label, package, and stage finished products for distribution.

Maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Desired Skills & Experience

Minimum 1 year of production welding or related manufacturing experience.

Certificate from a college or technical school (preferred).

Simpson Strong-Tie PIT Certification (provided at hire).
-
Ability to read blueprints, interpret instructions, and solve problems.

Strong safety awareness and reliable attendance.

Mathematical reasoning (basic algebra/geometry).
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Simpson applications.

Leadership skills to coach, mentor, and prioritize tasks effectively.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment

Stand for 8–12 hours per shift with repetitive motion, twisting, and bending.

Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs regularly (heavier with equipment).

Exposure to heat, cold, loud noise, vibration, and moving machinery.

Occasional sitting, frequent walking, talking, and hearing.

No travel required.
