Job Overview – Welder
We are seeking skilled welders with experience in MIG, TIG, and Flux-Core welding techniques to join our team. This role is crucial to delivering high-quality equipment and solutions for the LNG and industrial gases industries.Candidates must be able to pass a weld test interview, produce x-ray quality welds, and follow all safety protocols while working with advanced tools and materials.
Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, weld symbols, and specifications.

Qualify in the 6G position with TIG.

Set up, adjust, and operate welding equipment safely.

Perform visual and dimensional inspections to ensure compliance with ASME standards.

Execute intermediate-level fabrication and assembly work with minimal supervision.

Use oxyacetylene and plasma cutting techniques safely and effectively.

Weld components in vertical, horizontal, and overhead positions.

Consistently produce x-ray quality welds with a high passing rate.

Work overtime, including Saturdays, as required.

Follow all safety practices and PPE guidelines.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of welding and fabrication experience.

Experience with GTAW (TIG), SMAW, FCAW welding techniques.

Skilled in using electrical and manual tools (saws, squares, calipers).

Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.

Knowledge of welding safety standards and use of protective gear.

AWS welding certification preferred.
Work Environment & Physical Demands

Warehouse-based environment using tools, machinery, and material handling equipment.

Regular lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

Exposure to varied temperatures and welding conditions.
