Job Overview – Welder

We are seeking skilled welders with experience in MIG, TIG, and Flux-Core welding techniques to join our team. This role is crucial to delivering high-quality equipment and solutions for the LNG and industrial gases industries.Candidates must be able to pass a weld test interview, produce x-ray quality welds, and follow all safety protocols while working with advanced tools and materials.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, weld symbols, and specifications.

  • Qualify in the 6G position with TIG.

  • Set up, adjust, and operate welding equipment safely.

  • Perform visual and dimensional inspections to ensure compliance with ASME standards.

  • Execute intermediate-level fabrication and assembly work with minimal supervision.

  • Use oxyacetylene and plasma cutting techniques safely and effectively.

  • Weld components in vertical, horizontal, and overhead positions.

  • Consistently produce x-ray quality welds with a high passing rate.

  • Work overtime, including Saturdays, as required.

  • Follow all safety practices and PPE guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of welding and fabrication experience.

  • Experience with GTAW (TIG), SMAW, FCAW welding techniques.

  • Skilled in using electrical and manual tools (saws, squares, calipers).

  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.

  • Knowledge of welding safety standards and use of protective gear.

  • AWS welding certification preferred.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

  • Warehouse-based environment using tools, machinery, and material handling equipment.

  • Regular lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

  • Exposure to varied temperatures and welding conditions.
