About the Role
As a Wellbeing and Activities Assistant, you will support the Wellbeing Coordinator in planning and delivering a variety of activities designed to promote interaction, joy, and mental stimulation. From social gatherings to creative arts and light exercise, you will help foster a vibrant community within our care home.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and conducting daily activities that promote social engagement.
- Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for all residents.
- Observe and report any changes in residents’ physical or emotional well-being to the Wellbeing Coordinator or Home Manager.
- Build relationships with local community groups to enhance resident experiences.
- Ensure all activity supplies and equipment are prepared and maintained.

Ideal Candidate:
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A genuine passion for working with older adults and creating enriching experiences.
- Previous experience in an elderly care, residential, or dementia care setting is preferred.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
