Job Overview:

All Native Group (ANG) is seeking a skilled Enterprise Wireless Network Engineer with expertise in Cisco Software Defined Networking (SDN) to support a Wireless Implementation and Support contract in Washington, DC. The Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Cisco WLAN technologies, ensuring efficient network operations, and providing tier-3 technical support. This role requires strong collaboration, excellent customer service, and advanced documentation skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Cisco Enterprise Wireless Network infrastructure, including Cisco DNA, ISE, WLC, Hyperflex Host, Virtual Servers, and Firewalls.

  • Implement patches, upgrades, and ensure security compliance across network devices.

  • Operate and maintain Cisco Software Defined Access Solutions.

  • Analyze network topologies and capacity requirements.

  • Create technical manuals and operating procedures.

  • Provide tier-3 technical support and troubleshooting.

  • Assist with wireless deployments, site surveys, and requirements gathering.

  • Participate in occasional travel for installations and support.

  • Collaborate on special projects and proposal support when needed.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Proficiency with Cisco devices (ISE, CMX, Prime, DNA, SD Access).

  • Strong knowledge of WLAN technologies, security protocols, and industry best practices.

  • Experience with wireless testing tools (e.g., Ekahau Site Survey).

  • Expertise in security protocols like WPA2, EAP-TLS, and RADIUS infrastructure.

  • Ability to prioritize and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.

Education & Certifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience; military or trade school certifications preferred.

  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) required.

  • Cisco Certified Network Professional – Wireless (CCNP-W) preferred.

Security Clearance:

  • U.S. citizenship required.

  • Ability to obtain/maintain a TOP SECRET security clearance.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary range: $150,000 – $180,000 per year.

  • Comprehensive benefits package available.

Travel:

  • Primarily local travel, with up to 10% occasional out-of-area and overnight travel.
