Position: Per Diem Radiologic Technologist
Summary:
Under the supervision of a radiologist, you’ll perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures with skill, independence, and sound judgment. You’ll ensure patient safety, accuracy in positioning, and adherence to radiation safety guidelines—all while delivering compassionate, timely care.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare patients for diagnostic exams by gathering histories, explaining procedures, and addressing concerns. Obtain consent for contrast administration when required.

Verify all documentation including orders, insurance preauthorization, and patient identification in EPIC/Radiant.

Perform procedures using appropriate imaging protocols and exposure techniques based on patient age and condition, ensuring radiation safety.

Review, compile, and prepare images and documentation for radiologist interpretation.

Conduct quality control checks and routine equipment maintenance.

Maintain a clean and well-stocked work area.

Use hospital systems including RIS, PACS, and EPIC efficiently.
Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program (certificate, associate, or bachelor’s degree).

Current ARRT registration (new grads must obtain within six months of hire).

Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
