Job Summary
Peak Performers is partnering with a Texas State Agency to hire a Wireless Network Engineer for a hybrid role in Austin, TX. This contract position focuses on maintaining, troubleshooting, and upgrading wireless network systems to ensure high-density, secure WiFi performance.
Key Responsibilities

Lead testing, configuration, and upgrades of new and existing wireless hardware and software.

Maintain, analyze, and repair wireless network systems to optimize performance and reliability.

Ensure wireless network security and adherence to industry best practices, including 802.11 b/g/n/ac standards.

Collaborate with internal teams to implement high-density WiFi solutions across state agency networks.
Qualifications

Minimum 8 years of experience installing, configuring, and maintaining wireless network equipment.

Strong knowledge of 802.11 b/g/n/ac standards and high-density WiFi deployment best practices.

Experience with network management, security, and troubleshooting complex wireless environments.

Previous experience supporting Texas State Agencies is preferred.

Ability to work in a hybrid environment in Austin, TX.

Rate: $101/hour (W2 Contract)
