Job Summary
ScribeAmerica is hiring a skilled Workday Financials Administrator to manage the configuration, support, and optimization of Workday Financials. This position plays a critical role in ensuring that our financial systems are aligned with business processes and deliver reliable data for decision-making. You will serve as the main liaison between Finance, IT, HRIS, and Operations teams and lead system enhancements, new module implementations, and user training.
Key Responsibilities
System Administration & Configuration

Serve as the primary administrator for Workday Financials modules: GL, AP, AR, Procurement, Expenses, Banking, Projects, Reporting.

Perform system configurations (business processes, condition rules, validations, security groups).

Develop and maintain dashboards, Worklets, calculated fields, and custom reports.

Conduct data audits and support system compliance.
End-User Support

Provide Tier-2/3 support to Finance and operations users.

Resolve issues and liaise with Workday support and vendors.

Create and update system documentation and user training materials.
Change Management & Projects
-
Lead or support projects involving upgrades, optimizations, or module implementations.

Collaborate with HRIS, IT, and Finance teams on cross-functional Workday efforts.

Test and validate changes before deployment.
Security & Compliance

Administer security roles and financial user permissions.

Ensure adherence to internal controls, SOX, and data segregation standards.

Provide reports and system access for audits.
Optimization & Best Practices

Recommend and implement workflow improvements and automation.

Stay up-to-date with Workday Community, system updates, and new features.
Required Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Information Systems.

3–5 years of Workday Financials experience in a configuration/admin role.

Expertise in financial processes and reporting.

Experience with custom reports, calculated fields, and business process frameworks.
Preferred Qualifications

Workday Pro Certification in Financial Management or modules.

Experience with Workday integrations (EIB, Studio, Core Connectors).

Familiarity with Adaptive Insights, Coupa, or NetSuite.

Background in fast-growing or regulated environments.
