About the Role
We are looking for Skilled Working Foremen with a joinery background to lead on-site teams and deliver exceptional results on varied and often high-profile construction projects. This role is hands-on, requiring someone who is confident both on the tools and in managing people.
As a key figure on-site, you’ll:

Lead and supervise tradespeople on building projects

Coordinate with clients, architects, and subcontractors

Interpret structural and architectural drawings

Carry out skilled joinery and general construction tasks
Key Responsibilities
-
Undertake major and minor construction/joinery work
-
Install and repair flooring, roofing, ceilings, doors, and windows
-
Erect roof trusses and flat roofing structures
-
Construct formwork, cupboards, fences, and carcassing
-
Ensure work meets safety, code, and quality standards
-
Maintain a clean, efficient, and professional site
Essential Skills & Requirements
-
Proven site and team leadership experience
-
Completed a recognised joinery apprenticeship
-
Holds a valid CSCS card
-
Ability to read and work from technical drawings
-
Own set of professional tools
-
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience preferred

Knowledge of H&S, codes, and compliance standards
-
Professional, courteous, punctual, and presentable
-
Strong project and time management skills
-
Customer-focused mindset with attention to detail

Location & Travel
All work is conducted in person across Stockport, South Cheshire, and the North West. Candidates must have their own transport and be able to reliably commute or relocate prior to starting
