About the Job
Tesla is seeking a Workplace Health Administrator to manage and support employee health-related incidents, particularly in the areas of occupational injuries, workers’ compensation, and contracted labor through staffing agencies. A key focus of this role is employee communication and case coordination, with responsibilities spanning across incident reporting, ergonomic evaluations, OSHA recordkeeping, return-to-work planning, and data management.
This role involves detailed administrative work, coordinating with medical providers, insurance adjusters, internal departments (like HR and EHS), and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate case handling. The ideal candidate will bring experience from insurance, HR, safety, or risk management fields and demonstrate strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
This is an onsite position working the night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM).
Key Responsibilities

Serve as the first point of contact for employees regarding occupational injuries, benefits, and workplace concerns.

Collect detailed information about reported injuries and manage intake for workers’ comp, agency temp claims, and Owner Controlled Insurance Programs (OCIP).

Assist in investigations by tracking documents from providers, insurers, supervisors, HR, and external vendors.

Ensure timely responses to internal and external inquiries, including subpoenas and third-party communications.

Support the Workplace Health team across all administrative tasks and help maintain organized case documentation.
What You’ll Bring

At least 1 year of customer service experience, ideally in a high-paced or healthcare/workplace safety environment.

Strong interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills.

Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Insurance, or related field preferred; industry certifications (ARM, CPCU) or equivalent experience a plus.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

High attention to detail, fast and accurate data entry, and ability to prioritize tasks under pressure.

Hourly Pay: $23.20 – $38.40 (dependent on experience, skills, and location)
