We are seeking motivated Teen Corps/Youth Apprentices who want to learn carpentry and construction skills in a hands-on environment. Apprentices will work alongside experienced craftsmen, gaining valuable exposure to multiple trades while developing teamwork, safety awareness, and technical skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Youth Apprentices will gain experience in:
-
Rough and finish carpentry, building forms, installing doors and hardware
-
General labor support
-
Assisting with layout and measurements
-
Installing bollards, joint sealants, and firestopping
-
Placing and finishing concrete, installing rebar
-
Cabling and basic plumbing/electrical helper tasks
-
Painting, waterproofing, and accessory installation
-
Safety and quality support activities
-
Other duties as assigned
Education/Skill Requirements:
-
Must be in good standing with high school
-
Completed OSHA 10 certification (must provide a copy)

Currently enrolled as a high school student

Must be 16–18 years old
Physical Demands:

Ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods

Ability to bend, squat, climb stairs, stoop, kneel, or crawl

Regularly lift and carry 5–25 lbs; often lift 25–50 lbs; occasionally lift 50–100 lbs
Work Environment:

Office, job site, or workstation settings

May work at heights, outdoors, or in varying weather conditions

Possible exposure to dust, fumes, chemicals, noise, electricity, or heavy machinery

Strict adherence to safety rules and procedures is required
